I have neglected my account yet again but I will upload as soon as I come up with something more or less worthy of being shown to others. Meanwhile, here is a little review of iPhone.
This little gadget has been praised to much lately but now I got one and it's a huge disappointment. It does have some very handy functions but the negative points outweigh the positive. Here's a little review.
The design embodies the usual genius Apple simplicity and it does look very nice and elegant. Nothing extra and a nice, slick shape. Not to mention being able to use wireless internet and download loads of applications (plus, a very good camera). However--
1. Too many functions. One cannot be expected to use even half of them if that will eat up the whole battery in less than a day.
2. Definitely not for those who like to text a lot. The keyboard does look like a good one but when one types a text message their thumb is positioned diagonally and sideways. The buttons are small and unless you have tiny little fingers or patiently poke each letter with your index finger you end up hitting the letters next to the one you indended to hit. So you have to go back all the time and fix mistakes or be extremely careful, which slows down the whole process drastically.
3. It's a little too heavy for my liking. I text all the time and in the end my hand gets tired. Also, it's a very smooth phone and can easily slip out of your hand or pocket and crack.
4. Mine also likes to randomly go to sleep and not wake up when I tell it to. Then, 5 minutes later, it wakes up by itself. It also pretends to receive missed calls. I called back every one of those numbers and found out that most of the people didn't even have their phones on them at the time. Go figure...
